Virgin offers early-bird Europe returns from $1641, Jetstar runs Asia flights at buy-one-get-one-free prices, Qantas cuts Northern Territory routes to under $250.
Australia's three major airlines have kicked off a fare war with tens of thousands of discounted seats for 2027 travel. Virgin is offering return flights from Perth to Barcelona from $1641, with Sydney to Barcelona at $1797 and Paris routes from $1799.
Jetstar is running its popular return-for-free promotion across 14,000 Asia seats; you buy the outbound flight and get the return free, so Sydney to Osaka starts from $569. Qantas has released more than 42,000 discounted seats on Northern Territory and Red Centre routes, with one-way fares to Alice Springs from $199 and Darwin from $249.
